Tony McLean's East Yorkshire Wildlife Diary

Wildlife photography in East Yorkshire

Greetings from Driffield, East Yorkshire

Well, I’ve been living in Driffield in east Yorkshire now for almost seven years. However, it is only recently that I have come to appreciate the rich diversity of wildlife in this part of England. The chalk cliffs of Bempton with their sea bird colonies are only 30 minutes away and the nature reserves of Tophill Low is even closer. For the past year, I have been a regular visitor to Tophill Low and have enjoyed countless hours observing the local wildlife including foxes, Barn owls, Roe deer and our feathered friends. I hope to update this diary on a regular basis with photographs and descriptions of what is happening in this wonderful area of the British Isles—Tony McLean
